Michael Davies, Partner

Michael Davies qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Peat Marwick Mitchell in 1982 and subsequently went on to become an investment banker with both Morgan Grenfell (later Deutsche Bank) and UBS.

Michael gained experience in providing clients with corporate finance advice, mergers & acquisitions and in the capital markets. His final position at UBS was as Head of Group Mergers & Acquisitions.

Michael is CFO of our London focused Assisted Living business Amicala, and CFO of our regional care home business Allegra.

Paul Spence, Partner

Paul Spence was previously CIO and Co-owner of Matrix Alternative Asset Management. Prior to Matrix he launched the Mountcashel Fund in 2004.

He began his career at Barclays, where he was the Head of OTC Index Trading, Deputy Head of Equities trading globally and Head of Equity and Derivatives trading at BZW Japan, which culminated in launching an internal macro hedge fund at Barclays Capital.

Paul is CEO of our London focused Assisted Living business Amicala, and Chairman of our regional care home business Allegra.

Helen Jones, Partner

Helen is CEO of our regional care home business Allegra Care, and COO of our London focused Assisted Living business Amicala. Helen has held the senior roles of General Manager of Tricare Nursing Homes, Chief Operations Officer for Domain Principal Group, and Executive for Strategy, Standards and Service Development with Australian Unity Independent and Assisted Living.

Helen was the first aged care recipient of the Endeavour Executive Australia Award, and is a board member of the Common Age Association, a charitable organisation focused on improving aged care standards in all Commonwealth countries.

Henry Lumby, Partner

Henry is Managing Director - Development of Amicala, our London Assisted Living business, and Executive Director of Allegra Care, our regional care home business.

Henry was formerly Head of Retirement Living at Savills, where he advised many of the leading retirement operators and investors on the sector. Prior to Savills, Henry worked for a care home and retirement living developer / operator on the South Coast, and has been working in the retirement and residential sectors since 2001.
